Revision as of 16:28, 15 October 2020

Doctor Who is a TV series which aired from 1963 to 1989, and from 2005 to the present.

The Doctor Who stories take place in an alternate universe, not the main Crossover Universe; however, elements from the stories have counterparts in the CU, and the character of the Doctor has crossed over into the CU more than once.

For info on the Crossover Universe's own incarnation of the Doctor, see Doctor Omega.

Notes

It is implied that the Doctor might have visited the Crossover Universe on other occasions, but the sources of said information are likely to occur in alternate universes.

  • In Forever Autumn, the Doctor claims to have met Jar Jar Binks' clan, and that George Lucas mistook a telepathic message for his own ideas, implying that the Star Wars films were based on real events.
  • In Eater of Wasps, when the Doctor is asked if he had ever read Tarzan, the Doctor replies that he had also met him.
  • In The Gallifrey Chronicles, a copy of the first Harry Potter novel in the Doctor's TARDIS has the first page crossed out and the words "No, no, no, no, it didn't happen like this at all" written on it in red ink, implying that the Doctor knows how it did happen.
  • During the Spam Filtered arc of the IDW Doctor Who comics, the Doctor says he met a hard-light hologram who was a "bit of a jobsworth". A likely reference to Arnold Rimmer of Red Dwarf.
